Diego A. Boscardin

Diego A. Boscardin founded icomasoft ag on July 18, 2008 and was appointed Chairman, President and CEO. In this capacity he is responsible for growing icomasoft's worldwide business.

Before joining icomasoft AG, he held the position of Managing Director and Delegate to the Board of Symantec Switzerland. Prior to the merger of Symantec and VERITAS Software in July 2005, Diego Boscardin was Managing Director of VERITAS Software GmbH in Switzerland. In both roles he built up and extended Sales, Marketing and Services structures and intensified and expanded strategic partnerships and alliances including direct and indirect sales to international and Swiss large enterprise customers as well as small and medium size enterprises. During the five and a half years assignment he grew Veritas’ and Symantec’s Switzerland business from 10m US$ to 80m US$ in profitable revenues and achieved the 2nd best productivity per head in EMEA.

Diego A. Boscardin can look back on over 20 years of experience in the IT hardware and software industry, where he held Management and Senior Executive Management positions in leading American, European and Swiss companies. He has wide-ranging experience in the area of international systems, especially consultancy-intensive, complex solutions and services for large enterprise customers. Before moving to VERITAS Software he held the position of General Manager and Board Member of EMC Switzerland with responsibility for Sales, Systems Engineering, Consulting, Marketing and Services.

Other stages in his career include various managerial positions, such as COO of Enterprise Communications, a CTI company, CEO of Telliance, an RWE Telecom company, General Manager of TMI Switzerland, a Telecom Italia company, an Executive Vice President of Systor, an UBS company.

Diego A. Boscardin holds a Swiss Master degree in Sales Management of Zurich Business School and graduated in Business studies from various international institutes for Executive Management, such as the Management Center of America in Brussels, where he specialized in Mergers and Acquisitions at the faculty of Prof. Desmond Hally of the University of Dublin, Ireland.

Dennis Zimmer

Dennis Zimmer founded icomasoft ag on July 18, 2008 and was appointed Chief Technology Officer and Director of the Board. In this function, Dennis Zimmer assumes responsibility for icomasoft® ’s technology strategy, R&D and software architecture. Prior to joining icomasoft ag, he held the position of a Virtualization Specialist and Systems Engineer EMEA Central with the storage vendor Pillar Data System. Earlier stages of his career include the position as Senior Consultant with Mightycare Solutions, a leading consulting company for virtualization in the German market. He designed, implemented and supported some of the largest VMware infrastructures in Europe.

Dennis Zimmer has more than 11 years of experience in the IT industry. During the last years he focused on virtualization of datacenters in general and VMware virtual infrastructure in particular.  He is an opinion leader within the European Virtualization Community. Moreover, Dennis Zimmer built a strong reputation as a technology visionary across the Globe. His books and video trainings are being read and used by leading IT vendors and large organizations in many countries.

Furthermore, he is one of the 300 individuals worldwide who were awarded as vExperts.

Dennis Zimmer is a well renowned book and magazine author for IT virtualization and has written three German and two English books as well as dozens of magazine articles. His website www.vmachine.de is a good source for knowledge transfer and news blog around all topics of IT virtualization.

Patrick Dreyer - Enterprise Architect

Patrick Dreyer joined icomasoft ag on September 1, 2008 as Enterprise Architect and assumed responsibility for the architecture design and for the software development of the icomasoft®  solutions.

During the past four years, Patrick Dreyer stayed in Brasil, where he established his own company.

As co-owner of the Brasilian consulting company RC Assessoria e Consultoria, Patrick Dreyer was personally involved in consultancy across the domains ECM and BPM in some of the largest Brasilian corporations.

Prior to joining RC Assessoria e Consultoria, Patrick Dreyer held the position of an Enterprise Architect with HowStuffWorks, Brazil, and was responsible for the hosting infrastructure and the country specific software adoptions, including developing a study about adjustment of existing platforms. The study was the foundation for the globallly customizable software platform. Before Patrick Dreyer´s move to HowStuffWorks, he was co-owner and CTO of a Brazilian hosting provider, with focus on establising a resilent hosting infrastructure and quality customer support satisfaction.

Earlier stages of his career include the position as deputy head of development and head of middleware with Swisscom Systems AG, where he was part of the team responsible for the CTI and Unified Messaging products.

Patrick Dreyer graduated from the Zurich University Winterthur and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
